Why can't I log in?

The most common cause of login issues is a mistyped password - make sure your browser is not automatically filling in the password, and that your Caps Lock key is not on. Some other things to think about include:

  • Does your username or password contain a mixture of upper and lower case letters? Passwords are case sensitive.
  • Are cookies enabled on your browser? Cookies are required for login.

How do I gain access to a course?

Locate or search for the desired course (you can click 'All courses...' in the 'My courses' block) and click on the course name. If your teacher has given you an enrollment key, enter it when prompted, and click Enroll me in this course. Once you are enrolled in a course, it will appear under "My courses" any time that your are logged into that Moodle site.

 

How do I jump between my courses?

  • Click on the 'My Courses' button located in the left navigation menu, if it has been added to the page you are on.
  • Go back to the homepage (see below) and then Click on the 'My Courses' button in the left navigation menu, if it has been added!

 

How do I get back to the homepage?

Click on the 'Home' button in the left navigation menu.

 

 

I'm having trouble with the interactive Advanced Questions.

How do I find a course?

  • If you are enrolled in the course you are looking for then click on the "My Courses" button in the left navigation menu.
  • If you are not enrolled on a course that you are looking for then click on the "Course Catalog" button, located in the left navigation menu

 

How do I access a course?

  1. Click on the 'My Courses' button in the left navigation menu If you are enrolled in the course it will show up in the list.
  2. Make sure the 'Current Courses' tab is selected by clicking on it.
  3. Scroll down the page until you see the course you wish to access.
  4. Activate the course by either:
    1. Clicking on the image of the workbook.
    2. Clicking on the 'Go' button associated with the course, located to the far right of the page.
